Welcome to my website! I am an Associate Professor in the Stanford Economics Department and the Sakurako and William Fisher Family Faculty Scholar at Stanford.

I am also a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research, a Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a member of the French Council of Economic Analysis.

My research focuses on inequality, macroeconomics, and international economics (see my research statement). I've also written policy notes on fiscal, monetary, and debt relief policy.
