Welcome to my website! I am an Associate Professor in the Stanford Economics Department and the Sakurako and William Fisher Family Faculty Scholar at Stanford.
My research focuses on inequality, macroeconomics, and international economics (see my research statement). I've also written policy notes on fiscal, monetary, and debt relief policy.
Announcements: I have the privilege of being involved in organizing the following:
With Matt Rognlie and Ludwig Straub, I co-organized the first Goethe Macro Training School Workshop on Heterogeneous-Agent Macroeconomics on June 24-26, 2024, in Frankfurt (Germany). Check out our teaching material.
With Luigi Bocola, Kurt Mitman, and Alessandra Peter, I am co-organizing a SITE "Frontiers of Macro Research" conference, on August 21-23 in Stanford. Check out the workshop program.
