Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor in the Stanford Economics Department and the Sakurako and William Fisher Family Faculty Scholar at Stanford.

I am also a Research Affiliate at the Center for Economic Policy Research, a Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

My research focuses on inequality, macroeconomics, and international economics. Here is my research statement.

With Matt Rognlie and Ludwig Straub, I am co-organizing the first Goethe Macro Training School Workshop on Heterogeneous-Agent Macroeconomics on June 24-26, 2024, in Frankfurt (Germany). See here the call for applications and information on how to apply. The deadline is March 22. (Note: there will not be a similar workshop at the NBER this year).

With Luigi Bocola, Kurt Mitman, and Alessandra Peter, I am co-organizing a SITE "Frontiers of Macro Research" conference, on August 21-23 in Stanford. See here for the call for applications and information on how to submit a paper. The deadline is May 15.
